could i be happier?

m i enjoying my work? will i be happier if i quit? money or happiness?

but doesn't money = happiness?

on second thought, nah. money can't buy happiness, right? juz like money cannot buy friends. friendship is priceless. so what if i am earning money, but i have no friends? m i happie? nah...

all day long, i just stand there n eavesdropped on them gossiping; an endless, mindless stream of chatter. someday will we all become like that?

anyway i saw 2 old granny that day. they went shopping (wooh coolx) at baleno. think they bought same shirts of different colour or something. then they went to the food court, bought a drink and sat there and chat. for the whole afternoon. when dinnertime comes, they take their shopping bags, see which is whoes and left together, still chatting.

doesn't that reminds us of something? the carefree days of sceondary days (okie, until sec 3 i mean). when we will go walk around, shop, eat, chat after school. the good, old days...

r we happy? DUH!

due to circumstances, we have parted; gone on different routes to the future. will we be like the 2 old grannies? still keeping in contact and hanging out. what will the future brings? what is in store for us?

tourism~~haha...i dun wanna be a tour guide anymore...haha...i wanna work in an airline company...haha...suilan airways~~ hahaha...den i give u all free tickets okie? dun forget to buy insurance first...

anyway, back to the topic...m i happy?

i tink working at treats is making mi miserable. so i told lily that i'm quiting after this month. n she said okie, but need to talk to the manager first. obviously i'm not needed much there. today she told me that tomorrow a new auntie is coming to take my place. i just haf to complete the days on the punchcard- which is until 23. haha. yay!. but provided that the auntie wants to stay.

so auntie, whoever u r, please s-t-a-y...it will be tough, yah, but just stay. and enjoy. i will be supporting u, mentally. haha. please stay. then i can leave.

then i can be happy =)

the aunties and me got generation gap. how to make friends with them? imagine that all your colleagues are your mum's age. can you predict the kind of conversations they will make?

"how come u working, not studying le ah?" "u noe hor, my son oso......" "ur parents din oppose u working ah?" "got any siblings?" "wad skool u from? where u going to study now?"

yah. at 1st it's nice to think that they care, but after a while, it's very frustrating to answer the same qns over and over again. but then again, they r juz trying to make conversation. it's good that they din move on to tell me abt the market prices of veggies, pork, etc. (although i know that bee will like it, and maybe even benefit from it) haha

so...just hope that the lady stays. ask auntie ah xiu to be nicer to her. i've left sweets for her too. haha. see, i'm juz so kind. guess ah xiu will prefer her to me, no generation gap..then got partner to gossip with le. yay..
