suddenly i miss tk cher terribly.

last time we used to take them for granted. someone will be there to guide us when we faced any difficulties. someone will be there. how naive we are!

i remember de days when the chers will stay back until 7+ to ans our qns. to gif us remedials n wadev sai. tests, pop quizs, tt weekly paper for chem, revision papers. ans will be provided. confirm, guarentee, chop chop. n tt time kang taught me A math from like 1 to 5? straight. n de 'inspirational' toks tt ms yap will gif.

now in poly, it is so diff lah. de chers (tutors, i mean) r so toot. i have nutting to say. 1st, when i ask her something, she din ans my qns. okie nvm. instead, she insulted my english.

2nd, i asked another cher (tutor) for help. he din help n ask mi to help myself. nvm. then i asked if he could see if i'm on de right track anot. he tell mi to judge myself. i'm speechless. can't he just take a look n see if i'm right anot lah. den if is wrong, den at least i can change n learn from it. but no. it will be spoonfeeding u n taking away ur opportunity to learn, he reasoned. rubbish..

i realised tt they like to tell u to "go internet search". wow, how nice. tt's wad i did n i still dun understand. tt's y i ask u. tt's wad u r there for. den now u ask mi go search somemore..wow. n tt time u still said tt we r not utilising de human resource available. aren't u part of de resource too? or u actually dunno de ans?

i noe. now tertiary liaoz. muz be independent. be responsible for own learning. bla bla bla. but does tt gif her any right to insult my standard of english? is it okie for him to always tell mi to go search? is it unreasonable to see if wad i did is right? is it tt hard to help?

i really miss tk chers. u could say i'm used to being spoonfed bah. but with these 'tutors', i've lost de motivation to study liaoz.
