hehs...long long post..wooh, scroll button activated at full speed...haha..wadeva lah...yest was de first (and last?) day at amara hotel. haha. hip ah? so toot de lor. like coolie liddat lah.de diff between there n oriental...- oval tray not only de guy de business. girls oso need to carry. superwoman lor. haha. someday i'll be strong enough to carry it too. humph.
- u wun get hungry there. in oriental starting work at 5pm = no dinner provided. but at amara is diff. i ate like 3 meals there. lunch, dinner n supper. haha. supper was in coutesy of eddy (something liddat lah). so nice ah? treat us to supper...
- amara more relaxed than oriental. haha. i reach at 10.05 liddat, but only really start work at 1030. haha. den end at 1am, but they gif us money till 2am. = i get paid to eat supper. hahaha!
- amara get pay on de day itself de. felt so rich yest lah...haha...
- oriental got 4 bus lines (north, south, east, west), amara only got 3. dun haf south. but den so toot. they say got no bus to my hse. den at 1st is say i take cab home n claim back de $$. den suddenly got bus for me to go home le. haha. me and another girl. n of all places, she had to stay in geylang. so xia si ren lah. haha...
- oriental pple more friendly. haha. amara..they look like hei se hui de lor. haha..n of all pple, i had to partner xin ni n serve de table with de 'big' pple de. so scary. think they thot i from oriental, den v pro de. haha! little did they noe...
- amara they address u by ur name. oriental "oie girl"
- oriental is ang mo based..they f*, amara more dialect. haha! yan shld have a wide vocab of tt bah..n de pple there speak chi de..haha..
- in oriental, muz wait until de guest all leave le den can really start clearing de place. amara..event end jiu start clearing de place le..n i really mean clear de place lah..not clear de table. n de guests r still there lor.
they r so unfriendly lor. except for wendy n sk n yijie. haha! den at 1st i was like so lonely n dunno wad to do. n got nagged at some pple (ah long) lah. wadeva lor. i finished what u told me to do le mah, so liddat lah. like i will noe wad else u wan me to do liddat.
morning serve tea/coffee break..aftnn serve lunch n another tea/coffee break, night serve dinner. to de same grp of pple. haha...so hip ah?
some QAF Limited, den they got annual general meeting from 9 to 5. haha. at de hotel. many overseas pple. including china, philippines, aust etc. den yea. still dunno what is tt company lor. nvm, someday shall go research on it. from de whoever's speech, de chi name sounds like carrefour. haha. kang fu.
morning n aftnn went relatively well. slack lah..at night tt gala dinner (or is it gala night?) den cham. at 1st partner nicholas de. he really looks like some oriental pple lor. haha. den 2 to 3 tables.
after a while, xin ni came to me n say "u n i serve table 8 n 10" in tt fierce fierce kinda way. i orh. den i tink again, din eddy say tt table 8 n 10 v impt de? haha...got some directors or whoever sai de. in other words, big shots.
so yea. i serve 8 while she serve 10. 7 aust pax. haha. hip ah? they drink red wine like they drink water, n they drink ice water like they breathe. de whole night, i was refilling wine n water lor.
me go to bar...bartender: ah u again, i noe what u wan. *gif me another jug of iced water*...haha...
so these aussie pax v hip lah. supposed to be they serve themselves de lor. den wan me to portion for them. can i faint? portion until like sai. n after i portion until so xin ku, den they dun eat. toot seh.
cuz they were too busy entertaining pple n cheering n cheers-ing. they got this v hip aussie cheer lah...haha...so cute lor...maybe if they r like 10-20 yrs younger, i would have melted le. hahaha...wadeva man.
((den cuz they din eat, me n my hei se hui partner piss each other out. haha! like is my fault tt they dun wan eat. den she like so rush de lor. i portion finish de dish n de other pple r juz taking it out..den she say i slow n sai. wadeva lor. dun like her attitude. so wad if she more exp? customer service more impt lah...toot her.))

oh yah, last night is de 1st time i see so many adults happily cheering n shouting n dancing n playing toot games lah. haha. so hip seh. like different countries united in amara ballroom. haha!
oh yah, rmb our gc lecs? b4 de start den marie will play some songs from some cty n wan us to guess? hahaha...they were playing tt game too! ahh...n de guests r really enthu abt it. haha...

i shant be mean bah..haha...n insult de director (or whoever who made tt speech) tt both his ang mo n chi cmi. haha. oops. but he still can climb so high. so i got hope le. hahaha! n i got close encounter with him w/o knowing it is him lah. haha...so toot man..
until he say "at de end of de night, i will be de one to sign de check" hahaa..like i care~ as long as i see my mr m jiu hao le. whether he sign de check anot is not my prob lah. amara de prob. haha...

i asked a supervisor (or whoever, juz someone higher up) "what drinks can i get for u, sir?" hahaha..so ps lah..den i was slacking at de lift there, n saw a man in biz suit walk past. he stare at me. i smile back. n de next time i noe..zul "hi boss!" haha...talk abt crap man...
